James McMorris II (maCmoses – me and CHRIST moving obstacles so everyone sees) was born and raised in Washington, D.C. He's always had a love for music, most notably the Hip-Hop Genre. Although maCmoses stuttered at times, when it came to 'Rapping' he spoke fluently and aggressively. One of his high school friends quipped that he should 'rap all the time'. This never discouraged maCmoses because his personality was always one of fun-loving humor!
In the spring of 2003, maCmoses became ill. He lost his ability to walk. After being misdiagnosed for nearly four years, maCmoses went to Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for a second opinion. maCmoses did not have the debilitating disease 'Transverse Myelitis', which was described as inflammation of the spinal cord, he had 'Spinal Stenosis' which occurs when a boney-mass tightens around the spinal column, interfering with the continuous flow of spinal fluid. This would lead to two successful surgeries, and today maCmoses, although utilizing a walker, continues to improve drastically, knowing that by Christ Jesus’s Stripes, he is already healed!
During maCmoses's illness, JESUS blessed him to begin the Christian Company, JESUS CHRIST TRU VINE Entertainment. The company’s mission is to be ‘the most-Blessed and successful Christian Entertainment Empire that Will Be Utilized by Jesus for the Salvation of the globe.’ With 2 independent releases, (‘maCmoses: A New Path’, and ‘maCmoses: From Israel to DC’), and the recently released ‘maCmoses: Year of the LORD – The Compilation’), maCmoses continues to spread the LOVE and GOSPEL of CHRIST through his ministry of Hip Hop. Through all his trials and tribulations, he has learned that JESUS is Faithful, and there is 'NOTHING TOO HARD FOR HIM'!
